Topic: Recommendations on developing digital infrastructure for digital economy
We’ve all seen how much technology has evolved during our lifetimes what was big became small, what was small became even smaller, and what was slow has become bewilderingly fast. However most of us do not think about how, why or even what is driving this inexorable march of the smaller (size), faster, bigger (capacity) technology ecosystem which surrounds our life these days. Also while we relate readily to this shift in our personal space/life we don’t spend much thought on how this is changing the world around us in terms of Government, Medicine, Transportation, Energy etc. Over the next 30 minutes let’s examine:
a) What’s made this possible?
b) What have been the challenges and risks?
c) How is this going to develop/evolve/change over the next couple of decades?
d) What does this mean from an investment/skills & systems perspective?
